Zurich – The rapidly growing Forensic Technology & Discovery Services (FTDS) department of EY is currently seeking the right candidate for an excellent career opportunity in the eDescovery (“eD”) team in Zurich. This team represents a critical component to EY’s FTDS growth strategy and is where much of the innovative early thinking takes place.
The eD team is a global group of technical specialists that apply technical skills to the full life cycle of data management. This incorporates data scoping, processing and analysis, reporting and visualization, as well as presentation for review. Our FTDS data center provides state of the art forensic technology infrastructure and tools necessary to uncover the most complex cases.
Tasks that you promote
- Working in client engagement teams, carrying out both reactive and proactive data analysis of large volumes of unstructured and structured data.
- Working with clients, fraud investigators, internal and external auditors, lawyers and regulatory authorities in sensitive and sometimes adversarial situations.
- Working in our specialist forensic technology labs and on client site to help clients leverage knowledge from their data through the use of best of breed forensic technology.
- Project activities would involve data collection, data quality assessment, data cleansing, analysis, processing and loading into online and on-site eDiscovery tools.
Your profile to succeed together
- Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields
- Strong track record of working with SQL (additional scripting or other programming languages would be beneficial)
- Experience in collecting, processing and analyzing large volumes of unstructured and structured data
- Experience in using and administering the following eDiscovery tools: Relativity, NUIX, LAW PreDiscovery (any other eDiscovery platforms would be advantageous)
- Solid knowledge of IT environments, networking, server architecture and IT security
- Assertive and proactive approach to the delivery and implementation of projects as well as the ability to network effectively within large organizations and build relationships with individuals and clients.
- Fluent in German (beneficial) and English is a must.
