Zurich – Eight startups in the finance industry have graduated from F10’s prestigious P2 program with flying colors, with two more successfully completing the program. F10, a Swiss non-profit incubator specializing in the FinTech, RegTech and InsurTech industries, offered the startups mentorship and guidance from industry experts, accelerating their growth rapidly in an intense six-month collaboration.
F10 focuses on startups developing innovative digital solutions which answer emergent issues in a world where finance is moving online. With consumers demanding speed as much as security and ease of use, the industry is in full growth mode. “We’re very proud of everything our startups have been able to achieve with our support,” said Markus Graf, F10 FinTech Incubator & Accelerator’s Head. “In just six months, we have helped the startups to rapidly grow their businesses by connecting them to the right people and institutions. Today marks the completion of the program and their graduation day. Now, we are looking forward to helping a new batch this summer; we are accepting applications until April 28th, 2017.”
Working through problems with a vision in mind
Sonect, Enterprise Bot, xChain, Futurae, Apiax, BizGees, Vesgoo, Lendity, Traderion, and WealthInitiative were the startups which benefited from the wealth of experience that the P2 program had to offer. All expressed their appreciation of the opportunity that the program had opened to them.
“F10 has been a rollercoaster—we have had some good times and some hard times,” said a spokesperson for one of the startups, Vesgoo, which successfully completed the program alongside BizGees. “Now, I see what it’s all about; working through your problems with your vision in mind. That’s what F10 has made us ready to do.” A spokesperson from WealthInitiative added, “F10 has been an amazing learning experience for us, surrounded by great people keen to support and help us on our journey.”
Other startups echoed the same sentiments, praising the amazing learning experience and support provided—as well as doors opened to business opportunities in the Swiss financial industry as well as further afield. Some, like Enterprise Bot have collaborated with PwC Switzerland, opening doors to vast networks, while others like WealthInititative, xChain, and Sonect have entered into implementation discussions with large banks.
F10 also took the opportunity to remind other startups wishing to take advantage of the P2 program that there were only two weeks left to apply for the next batch of the program, with the application deadline ending on April 28th, 2017.
