Morgan Stanley: Martin Kesselring appointed Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for Switzerland

Mr. Kesselring will be responsible for growing Morgan Stanley’s investment banking team in Switzerland, and for coverage of key investment banking clients. He will report to Dominique Lancksweert, Managing Director responsible for investment banking in the Benelux and Switzerland.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Lancksweert said: «We have a long track record of working with Swiss clients, and Martin’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to Switzerland. His intimate knowledge of the Swiss market and proven ability to build teams and businesses will be invaluable as we grow our business in Switzerland.» Manuel Bauer, Executive Director, will be Mr. Kesselring’s deputy. Mr. Kesselring, aged 41, brings almost 14 years of investment banking experience to his new role. He joins Morgan Stanley from UBS where we worked for four years, most recently as Swiss Co-Head of Investment Banking and Client Coverage. Prior to that, between 1994 and 2004, Mr. Kesselring worked at JPMorgan holding senior roles in European Telecoms and Northern Europe investment banking coverage.
