Geneva – Temenos, the market leading provider of banking software, today announces that Forrester Research, Inc. has ranked Temenos as a ‘leader’ among the eight most significant global banking platform vendors, in its December 2012 report, ‘The Forrester Wave™: Global Banking Platforms, Q4 2012’. Temenos has been recognised as a ‘leader’ by Forrester in global banking technology, in a selection based on vendors’ scope, global success and relevance.
Several Temenos solutions qualified for the Forrester Wave, including TEMENOS T24 (T24) – Temenos’ award-winning front to back office, CRM and product lifecycle management software platform. In the report, Temenos received the highest score for services and support amongst its peers, whilst scoring second highest among all vendors in both the deployment and operations, and corporate strategy categories. Forrester states that the Temenos banking platform “offers strong overall functionality with a very broad product base.” Forrester continues: “Temenos’ product strategy is strong, with a sound definition of target geographies and countries but a well-defined architectural vision for T24. Its corporate strategy is very strong without any weak points.”
