London – Der Netzwerk- und IT-Dienstleister BT hat das Kommunikationsnetzwerk des Zahlungsanbieters Visa Europe modernisiert. Pro Minute verarbeitet das Unternehmen darüber Zahlungen im Volumen von rund zwei Millionen Euro. Das neue, erweiterte Netzwerk bietet Visa Europe die notwendigen Datenverbindungen für verlässliche Kartenautorisierung, Clearing sowie Zahlungsabwicklung. Ausserdem verbindet es mehr als 350 Standorte von Mitgliedern in 37 europäischen Ländern.
Das Netzwerk basiert auf BT Connect, dem innovativen Portfolio von Netzwerklösungen. Zudem stellt BT Messaging- und Video-Conferencing-Werkzeuge sowie Lösungen für das mobile und flexible Arbeiten bereit, die den Mitarbeitern von Visa Europe eine effektivere unternehmensweite Zusammenarbeit ermöglichen.
