F10 FinTech Incubator & Accelerator Opens Applications For New P2 Batch

Zurich – Switzerland’s leading FinTech, RegTech, and InsurTech incubator and accelerator, F10, today revealed that it was now accepting applications for Batch IV of its pioneering P2 (Prototype to Product) Program. Applications are currently being accepted and reviewed from innovative tech startup firms who were solving problems in the financial, banking, and insurance industries between March 18th through September 9th, 2018. The news arrives as Batch III begin their own six-month journey of accelerated growth on P2, which will see them collaborating with some of the biggest names in the Swiss finance industry as well as with F10’s own expert team of coaches and mentors. Successful applicants to Batch IV will undergo the same between December 3rd, 2018 through May 16th, 2019.

“Technology is moving at a rapid pace, and we are constantly on the lookout for the next big idea that has the potential to revolutionize the finance industry. Our position enables us not just to help the startups to grow – but also to connect them with industry leaders, giving them everything they need to take their vision from a prototype through to a product with a first paying customer,” said Thomas Landis, startup coach and head of F10.

Startups who are accepted into the P2 Program will have their own office space in Zürich at the F10 headquarters, and will work alongside members from leading Swiss brands, including SIX (the Swiss stock exchange), ERI Bancaire, Julius Bär, PwC Switzerland, Baloise Group, eny Finance, Generali, ZKB, and Raiffeisen.

F10 also announced that the recent #SIXHackathon an initiative that is part of the FinTech Games, which took place between March 16th through March 18th at Zürich’s Schiffbau had been a runaway success. Although the competition was fierce, only one startup could win the Golden Ticket – which gave the winner a place in the top 25 selection day for the upcoming Batch IV of the P2 Program. The winning startup was BIRTHDAY GIRLS a promising startup from Turkey/Switzerland which has already shown itself as capable of a great deal of potential.

In addition to applications, F10 will also be launching a world tour to scout the globe for the best startups across all the continents. Dates, along with destinations are still being arranged and will be announced shortly on the F10 website.
